Care Guide

How to Care for Your Shirt (So It Doesn’t Turn to Junk)

Follow the Care Tag
We know—no one likes being told what to do. But if your shirt came with care instructions, follow them. Every brand’s got its quirks, and ignoring the tag is the fastest way to trash your gear.

Turn It Inside Out
Keep the print looking sharp. Flip your shirt inside out before washing and drying. It’s a quick move that protects the graphics from fading, cracking, and heat damage.

Wash on Low
Delicate cycle. Cold water. Low spin. Your shirt isn’t a pair of muddy boots—go easy on it.

Use Mild Detergent
Harsh detergent is overkill. Go for the gentle stuff. If all you’ve got is the strong stuff, dilute it with water before tossing it in.

Wash Alone or with Similar Colors
For the first wash or two, keep your shirt flying solo. After that, stick with similar colors—reds with reds, lights with lights. That keeps things from bleeding or streaking.

Avoid the Dryer
Heat kills prints. Hang dry your shirts whenever you can. If you have to use the dryer, go low heat and tumble dry.

Skip the Iron
If it’s wrinkled, toss it in the dryer with a damp cloth for a few minutes. Still a mess? Use a low-heat iron with a towel over the graphic. Or just rock the wrinkles.

Store in the Shade
Sunlight fades your shirt faster than a bad joke. Store it in a cool, dark closet to keep it looking fresh.

Keep It Cool
Heat warps and fades prints. Don’t leave your shirt in a hot car or stuffy attic. Cool and dry is the name of the game.
